This Week’s Posts
I started a new substack that will just republish obscure or forgotten works in the public domain.
Tuesday: Wrote about Super Metroid, which is, perhaps, one of the most important games in videogame history.
Wednesday: Paying subscribers received Chapter Twenty Three of Emrys the Fool and free subscribers received Chapter Twenty One. If you received neither, there are instructions here on how to get these in your email.
Switching gears completely, the Dadpod Gamescast released our tenth episode! It’s about Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, one of the other most important games in videogame history, and the other half to the term Metroidvania. This is a real good one.

Margaret Atwood reviewing an AI version of her writing.
Read Dracula this week for the first time in decades. I liked it! Liked it a lot more than I did when I was a young teenager. Also began the alliterative Death of Arthur, translated by Simon Armitage.
Read Grendel by John Gardner which is fantasticly weird and dark.
About halfway through another big chunky vampire novel called The Historian, which is mostly very good but definitely has some flaws.

Iron Wolf and Sleeping Giants are still newly out and could use reviews!

That’s it from me.
Anyway, read my books that are currently out. Then review them.
Thank you.
