If you’re only interested in my longform fiction and would only like monthly updates, you can subscribe to my new website.
Now that I’ve had this newsletter up and running for about three and a half years, it’s becoming increasingly unwieldy and messy so I went about re-organizing the entire thing by breaking off topics into discrete sections.
While substack makes navigating someone’s archive difficult, I’ve tried to ease that process by updating my Table of Contents. Here you’ll find things broken down by topic, and if you keep scrolling down you’ll see the many series of essays I’ve done over the years.
The biggest change I’ve made is that now you can pick and choose which topics you receive from me more easily. To do that, click on this link or type it in yourself: radicaledward.substack.com/account.
You should then see your account details, your type of subscription, but also your Notification settings.
Here you can toggle on and off which parts of the newsletter to subscribe to.

For example, if you’re only interested in my Book of the New Sun slow-read, you could toggle off everything else and leave it at that. If you like everything I do except my music reviews, you can adjust accordingly.
But like I said above, if what you really want is a monthly update on what I’m up to as a writer, you can sign up to my new wordpress site, which is going to be more of a hub for everything I do as a fiction writer.
You’ll still be getting weekly posts here on a variety of topics (unless you adjust your settings!), but I’m also going to begin using more off-substack tools for a variety of reasons.
The other big change happening here is that I’m going to begin posting fiction here once more. Expect a new short story the last week of every month.
Certain events in my life in 2024 kept me from publishing novels, but expect a return of The Howling Earth Series, along with many more projects.
On the subject of unnavigable archives, this page is new: https://radicaledward.substack.com/sitemap
Very funny to me that Substack quietly posts updates like this (lightweight "here's a list of every post on this newsletter" page) that its users actually want, and publicly promotes shit like "we've made it easier for TikTok emigre influencers to hawk their wares over live video!" that nobody cares about lmao
Hi Wolf,
I imagine that you are supportive of anti-animal mistreatment.
This work is trying to shed light on the absurdities of the current system in creative ways. I like to view it as fiction for sustainability.
I would like to invite you to have a look at this novella here. It has sparked some interesting academic discussion already.
A small briefing of the book -
"The Jacksons' Debate explores the ethical complexities of interspecies relations through the lens of an advanced alien civilization called the Jacksons. The novel challenges readers to consider how easily a more advanced civilization might view humans as a resource, mirroring humanity's own treatment of other species on Earth."

I would much appreciate it if you were to give the e-book a go. It does push up its ranking and supports its continuity.
Thank you.
