Benefits for Paying Subscribers
I’ve been trying to think of a way to give subscribers something special as a thank you. Since there’s nothing here at the newsletter that’s paylocked, it’s been difficult to think of benefits for all of you without locking up some of these essays. Which I could do, I suppose, but I don’t really want to.
But since I’ve begun publishing novellas at a slightly rapid pace, I thought this may be the right little benefit for you paying subscribers.
And so, moving forward, paying subscribers will receive ebooks of the novels I publish. This begins next Thursday with Howl. So whatever email you use to subscribe here will receive the ebooks on the day of publication.
Right now, I have four collaborative novels in a planned series coming out seasonally next year. These are Star Trek style episodic adventures that are a whole lot of fun to write and I think you’ll enjoy reading them. More on these soon.
Along with that, you can expect the sequel to Howl and a few other things.
I’m estimating that I’ll have six to ten books coming out next year. All of these can be yours for free with your paid subscription!
So tell your friends.
Everyone Else
My plan was to begin serializing a novel here starting in January, but we’re not going to get there in time. My new goal will be to launch sometime in the spring. Probably March.
I think the cadence will be one or two chapters a week for about six to nine months. Then a few months off. Then back to it. Think of it like seasons of a TV show. The goal will be to publish this possibly forever. I think I’ve created enough of a story engine that there won’t be any need to end it for a long, long time. But you never know until you start writing it, yeah?
I’ve been sick off and on for about a month, which is not ideal, but if you have children who live in your house, you may understand this pretty well. I’ve even lost my voice for the second time this month! Didn’t know that could happen.
The other night I went to sleep at 5pm, woke up at 6:30am to be with the kids. Then went back to sleep at about 8:30am until 10:30am. Quite a wild night!
Children are little monsters filled with diseases. Monsters we love with everything within us.
Anyway, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I hope you’re spending today relaxing. And if you want my fiction, I hope you’ll subscribe or, you know, just buy them like you’d buy any other book.
Have you bought Glossolalia yet? Want to read the first twelve chapters for free?
How about Sing, Behemoth, Sing? First two chapters are free here!
As always, I’d very much appreciate if you rated and reviewed these on Amazon.
Remember to pre-order Howl too. I’ll be on the Agitator podcast next week to talk about it on the eve of release.
Awesome! I look forward to getting the books! And I hope you and your family get a few days when everyone is healthy at once. It has been known to happen!
So cool!! Thank you, Eddy!
