Today is the day!
You may be asking, Why would you release this on a Friday? And the answer is purely symmetrical.
Fridays are not a good day to publish a novel, but Howl came out on December 1st of 2022, so it seemed nice to have the third in the series come on the same day.
Rejoice! new books
I’ve been a fan of J David Osborne for a long time. I even published an excerpt of his nonfiction book about Death Stranding and fatherhood. I listed one of his novels as my all time favorites! I even like his podcast, which is maybe the rarest kind of praise I can give.
You can check out the entire Howling Earth series here.
After the moon shattered and half the moon crashed into earth, reality cracked open. Centuries later, humanity survives by trying to regrow and replenish the earth or by scavenging the ruins of civilization.
Magic and bioengineering have run amok, changing the very nature of humanity itself. In this future of waste, renewal, and hypertech, some make a living hunting monsters to keep the remnants of humanity safe.
We have cyborgs and androids, transhumanists reaching to escape their human bodies and luddites clinging to their flesh and bones. We have curses and vampires and magic and technology transmogrifying what it means to be human.
It’s a whole mess of fun and I hope you join in on the fun.
will be running an excerpt later today, so take a look over at for more.Next year, there will be two more books coming out in the series.
May as well get started now, yeah?
